Where to begin? Let's start by saying I miss my Oompah when he's out of town for a long time. He was gone 5 whole days last time, so I got some of his clothes out of the closet and decided to play "dress up." I look just like him, don't I?

Go Bears! |
Then, all of a sudden, it was Thanksgiving! We had planned to go to Great-Grammas cabin for the holiday, but the snow was higher than I am and the power went out, so we had to change our plans and have it at our house instead! Maybe we'll get back to the cabin next year!
We didn't have many leftovers last year, so Mommie and Mare Mare cooked two this year! |
"Family, getting together to thank God for each other is what it's all about," says Oompah. |
Great-gramma wanted a picture of all of her kids, grandkids (and me, of course) |
Have you met my other Great-gramma? I call her Nana. She was here, too. We had fun. |
Oompah said to "pose". I don't know what that means! So I just kind of stood there with Nana. |
Just havin' a little "girl-talk". Oompahs not allowed.
After Thanksgiving, it was time to bring out the Christmas decorations---starting with the tree!
Mmmm, these ornaments look interesting! Mare Mare, how about this one? |
I tried to untangle the bead garland, but I didn't get very far! |
Here's the family Christmas tree, all done! Cool, huh? It's 100% Raggedy Ann and Andy. (Mare Mare's got TONS of Raggedy Ann and Andy stuff!) |
And since I'm a "princess", I get my OWN tree! And this year, I got to put it up in the LIVING ROOM!
Here it is all decorated. |
And lit up! Mommy and me wanted a pink-flocked tree, but Mare Mare "vetoed" that, whatever that means! |
Isn't this a neat tree-topper?
Well, that's all for now. I'll try to get some more pictures posted as we get closer to Christmas, but Oompah's going to be real busy until then. God Bless all of you! Merry Christmas!
